Tencreek Holiday Park offers touring, camping and caravan holidays near Looe and Polperro, on Cornwall’s stunning south coast. We were approached to refresh their brand identity and update the website to make it mobile friendly and attractive to view.
Implement a new brand identity that is still recognisable as Tencreek Holiday Park and improve the overall website structure, style and navigation to enable easier browsing and a more frictionless experience on mobile, tablet and desktop.

We started the process by redesigning Deano the dolphin. Our designers searched for the perfect style to adopt, wanting to keep everyone’s favourite dolphin recognisable whilst moving the brand forward.
The previous logo was difficult to read and Deano felt placed rather than part of the logo composition. We added a yellow arc that framed Deano and paid homage to the roots of the brand. We used a thicker font for the headline and introduced a script font for a fresh, informal look. At a glance, the logo feels young, fun, and friendly while still maintaining the brand recognition. We then used this design to ensure the new website was designed in line with their new branding.
We created a series of character poses for Deano the Dolphin and his friend, Sparky the Sharky, that have been used for both print and digital.
Tencreek's website wasn't performing to its' full potential. It was difficult to navigate, looked dated and victim to a heavy dropdown menu with multiple pages with little content. Deano also featured quite prominently in the header area and was obstructing images.
Our key challenge was to better organise the sitemap of the website and streamline content so customers could get to where they wanted to be in as fewer clicks. We also rolled out the new branding we had created for design consistency and to inject some fun back into the tired website.
We extended the website view to full screen to make use of the image library the park had supplied us. We also adopted the use of a tabbed area to help guests filter and navigate from the homepage.Visit the website
Special offers have been brought to the forefront of the website on the homepage, making it easier for guests to grab that bargain!
We created a bespoke 'what's on' calendar with a simple back office for the park to easily update and add entertainment acts.
The client was keen for the branding to extend through to the online booking process. We designed the look of the online booking steps to coincide with the rest of the website so the user's journey didn't felt interrupted when transitioning to the booking process.
