Pitched is a digital design agency specialising in design, marketing and online booking for the holiday industry, all under one roof.

Located in Cornwall, we’re a friendly bunch made up of web developers, graphic designers, marketeers, project managers, copywriters and two very excitable spaniels!

We’ve worked directly for some of the smallest and biggest holiday park operators in the country — and we haven’t just been supplying them with stunning websites and marketing services. Our team have collected glasses, manned reception desks and even managed holiday parks in the past. So, it’s fair to say we know the industry inside out and back to front. This knowledge of the tourism sector, combined with our technical expertise, means we offer the most comprehensive design and marketing package to holiday parks and campsites in the UK.

Andrew Hampton

Andrew is a man with extraordinary design skills. From logos and branding to buttons and text, he will make sure your website sings from the rooftops. A pixel perfectionist with a strong eye for detail, Andrew heads up our creative team and always seeks to push the boundaries with every new project he commands. He joined the team in 2010, having previously served for 12 years in one of the South West’s leading sign and display organisations. There he forged the path from junior designer to senior designer and ultimately project manager overseeing projects including most notably designing the National Trust UK Estate Signage and Wayfinding scheme following their rebranding in 2008/9.

Ian brings vast experience of the industry to the table. With an expert knowledge of holiday park data and an intricate understanding of all things IT and code, there’s little Ian doesn’t know about creating websites for holiday parks. It is this passion for the industry and website development that led Ian to design and deliver one of the best on-line booking systems for holiday parks in the UK – Pitched Booking. Before launching Pitched, Ian worked for several holiday parks and campsites. Starting at the age of just 15 at Mullion Holiday Park, owned by Weststar Holidays (Deborah Meaden, Dragons Den) in the bars department before rising to become entertainments manager at Sea Acres Holiday Park and subsequently traversing to their larger sister park at White Acres .

Ian’s better half provides a steady hand, valuable support and brings a quiet determination to the team. With a keen eye for detail, Jo provides strict planning and vital communication between the client and extended team, ensuring projects are delivered on time and with efficiency. Like Ian, Jo brings huge operational knowledge and experience of the holiday park industry to the team. Before taking a full time role with Pitched, Jo supported husband Ian with admin and accounts assistance whilst heading up pay roll, accounts and previously reception at Hendra Holiday Park, one of the largest independent holiday parks in the South West.

With 7 years working within the retail industry: 3 of which spent at management level. Zoe has impeccable customer service skills and is eager to provide the best service. Additionally, alongside her retail management career, Zoe has recently completed her degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies at Plymouth University. Balancing the two has required Zoe to be hyper organised and gain superb time-management skills, making her the perfect candidate to deal with all Pitched Operations.

Mike is charged with crafting inspirational website content that not only engages users but also pushes your website to the top of Google’s search rankings. As well as producing SEO content, Mike’s role also sees him manage Google Ads Pay Per Click accounts for a variety of clients, along with their social media activity. Mike joined Pitched in late 2015, moving to us after 11 years as a journalist in Yorkshire and Cornwall. His journalism career saw him work for one of the biggest weekly newspapers in the country, serving as its news editor from 2010 as it won several major industry awards. A keen writer, Mike blogs for us on the holiday park industry, reporting on news and trends.

Ellen joined our design team in mid 2024, bringing a wide range of skills from a varied background in design and marketing.
After completing her BA (Hons) in Illustration at Arts University Plymouth in 2015, she went on to work for a range of retail clients including The Range, cmostores.com, Devon Ceramics and Mole Valley Farmers.
Her experience ranges from print and packaging through to digital and web, as well as a background in marketing, which helps her see design from multiple perspectives to achieve the best result.
With a passion for everything creative, Ellen is a dedicated designer who loves to problem solve and get stuck into whatever brief comes along.
In her spare time, she loves exploring the Cornish countryside, painting, reading and relaxing with her cats.

Karen joined Pitched in January 2024 to manage our internal marketing activity and also to run customer operations whilst Zoe is away having a baby.
With a career spanning over 20 years in the leisure & tourism industry with her most recent role being on a holiday park, she has a real understanding of clients needs. Out of work, she loves exploring the UK in her VW campervan with her partner and slightly crazed spaniel!

James joined Pitched in April 2024 as Account Manager for Pitched Booking software, having worked for 8 years in sales and operations. He has worked in many different industries including commercial real estate, public sector, cyber security and software (SaaS). He graduated in 2017 with a degree in Drama in the Community and has been performing since a very young age. James spends a lot of his time talking to people (part of the drama degree!). Alongside his work here at Pitched, James is also completing his second degree in Computing and IT. He enjoys rowing, and an avid supporter of the rowing community across the UK and beyond!

Rowan joined our design team in late 2017, fresh out of University and bringing a new point of view to our work process. Rowan brought with her some experience of the tourism industry, which further helps her understand the experience from different perspectives. Rowan is an enthusiastic designer and creative thinker, and enjoys solving any creative need. She’s got a keen eye for detail and enjoys the challenge of creating individual designs within the holiday park industry. In her spare time she enjoys taking long walks with her dogs and exploring.

Grace joined the team in 2019 as our Digital Marketing Apprentice, bring with her a range of experience within the hospitality industry which helps her to understand the holiday experience from a range of perspectives. Keen to learn and grow her skills, Grace has taken on Pay Per Click accounts, social media activity and content writing for a number of clients. She hopes to continue to grow her knowledge and understanding within her role at Pitched.

Like Rowan, Beth joined Pitched in late 2017 and has become an integral part of our team. Since graduating from Falmouth University in 2015 with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design, Beth has interned for range of clients including Cornwall and Devon Police, Falmouth & Exeter Students’ Union (FXU) and Wolf Rock Marketing. Combining her love of illustration with design, Beth has produced an array of print and digital material and lives by the mantra ‘inspire thought, initiate action’. Beth has a keen eye for detail and is an Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) in InDesign and Illustrator, so you’re in safe hands…

Chloe completed a digital marketing apprenticeship in 2020 and has worked in the industry ever since. Her past experience has taught her a wide range of marketing skills, from design and content creation to running advertising campaigns and managing e-commerce platforms. She is excited to continue to grow these skills within the holiday industry and looks forward to her journey ahead at Pitched.

Luke’s creative flair began from a young age, studying art and completing his young arts leader award in school. In 2014 Luke began his design career working as a graphic art worker, learning and gaining skills on the job. Having built up his design portfolio, Luke then moved onto a role in a design studio as a graphic designer which bagged him a personal ride in a helicopter (You'll have to ask him!)

Luke joined St Austell Brewery in 2016 as a graphic designer – wine and spirits specialist, and completed a wine sommelier course to better understand the product (drinking wine was a bonus – obviously!). A highlight project was creating a wine design for the Eden Project called 'Muddy Frog' and an illustrated design for a circus-inspired gin called 'Tears of a clown', which then became a comic book series.

In his spare time, Luke is a gaming geek, bass lure fisherman and family man!

Sam is a driven individual who completed their university education in 2022, earning a first-class honours degree. While Sam's academic journey began with web development studies in college, their true passion has always been computers and technology from a young age.

Sam specializes in creating dynamic and user-friendly websites, transforming innovative ideas from the design team into functional and visually appealing online experiences.

In their spare time, Sam likes to play video games, badminton and swimming!
