Homestead Lake Park is a quiet touring and camping park in Essex.
We were asked to create a website that reflected the personality of the park, with easy navigation to content across the site and external links.
Homestead are also using Pitched Booking, making it easier for them to manage their bookings and for their guests to book online with ease.
Taking inspiration from Homestead's logo, we extracted the bright blues, greens and butterflies! They reflect the park's countryside peaceful setting. Introducing a modern tabbed area for controlled local area content, to not overload the user upon landing.
Take a look yourselfMaking the design simple and quick for guests to navigate through, we created tabbed areas to contain information, scrolling elements instead of stacking on top to minimise the amount of the webpage scroll.
Homestead had a minimal image library, this was no issue as we designed the pitch listing page with this in mind. Leading with the price and bright coloured block layouts for their pitch types.
As their key facility, we designed a page template purely for their fishing. They are able to add their fishes that they have available, along with their name, description, opening times and prices.
