Tranquil Parks

Tranquil Parks is an umbrella organisation for a collection of privately owned adult-only touring, camping and glamping parks across the UK.

The Challenge

To produce a website that not only looks visually impressive but also has a range of in-built functionality, such as the ability to search by accommodation, location and setting for all their 40+ members and potential guests.

As well as web design, the Pitched team also wrote SEO optimised content throughout to help with their Google rankings.

Website Design

Our design for Tranquil Parks not only sells the ideal of adult-only holidays but also makes it easy for the user to navigate and search the site for the right campsite in the right location for them. Full-width images sell the locations while detailed page layouts allow each of their member parks equal billing on the site

Mobile first

The majority of users now book their holidays using their mobile phone. Our design puts mobile users first, with a streamlined, slick appearance on mobile, allowing the user to easily read content and search for the perfect adult-only touring park.

Tranquil Park's owners were passionate about allowing their users browse by map for ease. We were able to incorporate a tabbed area on the main listing to display parks by listing or by map.

Park Detail Pages

Each park on the website also had its own section where it could sell its accommodation, facilities and location offering to the user; this was a major step-up on their previous website.This section also allowed the user to contact the park directly with a query or booking enquiry, or click through to the park’s own website to read more.
